Skids

Skids' parents kicked her out when her powers catalysed. Because the world sucks, she worked under a pimp who specializes in mutants. There's a myth that mutants can't get addicted to drugs. This is so very wrong.

"I'm mostly on heroin now but before, fuck, it was anything I could get my fucking hands on. It was like, y'know, the only things that felt good any more. And man, it feels really good."

I bet she would've taken me in when I ran away but..." Her thoughts went far away. Again, I was struck by how painfully young she was. Just as quickly, she hardened back up. "Hey, these pictures, you gonna pay me to pose?"
